Rooted in the land for generations and run by people who love making sure you feel at home from the very first day. Bucherhof is also an ideal base for hikes, walks and relaxing days at the farm.
Start your day with a rich and delicious breakfast with plenty of homemade specialties from our farm and carefully selected local products. Take in the view across the Merano basin before setting off for the day. The trails around Marlengo, the South Tyrolean mountains and countless hiking paths are all within easy reach.
And when you get back to the farm, the garden, the pool and the peaceful atmosphere of the Bucherhof are waiting for you – just what you need after a day in the mountains.

Breakfast buffet
Every morning, you can enjoy a rich breakfast buffet with high-quality regional produce and many homemade specialities – from jams and compotes to cakes and other treats. Egg dishes are freshly prepared every day; if available, we are using eggs from our hens or from local producers.
Südtirol Guest Pass for the duration f your stay: this guest card gives you free use of public transport throughout South Tyrol. So, you can simply leave your car at the farm and explore Merano, the surrounding area or destinations further afield conveniently by bus and train. The South Tyrol Guest Pass is included in the price all year round.

Price information

Prices are based on the current price list and vary according to room, occupancy and travel period. All prices include VAT. A local tourist tax of €2.70 per person per night is charged separately. Children under 14 are exempt from the tourist tax.

Booking information

Booking & deposit

To secure your booking, we kindly ask you to transfer a deposit of €100.00 per room. Your booking becomes binding only once the deposit has been received in our account and confirmed by us.

Cancellation policy

For cancellations up to 21 days before arrival, the deposit will be retained.
For cancellations between 20 and 7 days before arrival, 50% of the accommodation price will
be charged.
For cancellations made less than 7 days before arrival, 100% of the accommodation price will be charged.
In the event of late arrival or early departure, booked but unused nights will be charged.<

Travel insurance

To avoid unexpected costs in the event of cancellation, we recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance through the European Travel Insurance.

Out of consideration for our farm animals, dogs are not permitted at the Bucherhof. Thank you for your understanding.

Time for sunshine, water and peaceful moments

After a day spent outdoors in nature, on the trails around Marlengo, in the mountains or on the bike, a peaceful spot in the garden feels especially good. On the sunbathing lawn, beneath the shade of the orchards, you can read and relax in a quiet spot – with loungers, tables, chairs and greenery all around.

On warm days, the pool quickly becomes a favorite spot: swim a few lengths, cool off in the water, soak up the sun or simply do nothing beneath a parasol. Younger guests will find a large swing right at the farm, plenty of space to play and animals to discover.

The Bucherhof has been run as an apple and wine farm for generations, something you can notice not in grand statements, but in many small details: the apple trees surrounding the house, old vines, farm products such as wine, apple juice and fruit, and the small, well-tended herb garden.
The farm animals are also part of this authentic, time-honoured farm atmosphere: a dog, cats, chickens, rabbits, ducks, as well as aquatic and land tortoises. If you have questions about the life on our farm, we’ll be very happy to tell you more!

The canal trail of Marlengo, which is 12 km long, is the longest canal trail in South Tyrol. The Wine Culture Trail in Marlengo, offering fascinating insights into winegrowing, landscape and history, also passes directly by the Bucherhof.

Whenever you feel like a day in town, simply hop on the bus: with the South Tyrol Guest Pass you can travel to Merano free of charge, for a stroll along the promenades or a wander beneath the city arcades, a visit to the weekly market, the Merano Thermal Baths or the Gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle.

During the Advent season, the Merano Christmas Market is a true highlight. Fanycy a day in the snow? Mount San Vigilio and the Merano 2000 area are just 15 minutes away, offering beautiful winter walking trails, sweeping views and the chance to enjoy a few runs on the slopes.
